I've taken the opportunity to show a couple of pieces of artwork I have done with these. There is no difference whats so ever when compared to my smaller prismacolours. There are so many different colours to choose from and they blend better than any other pencil I’ve used.

My Marco Raffines offer a lot of brighter shades, with a plethora of greens and browns but they don't blend as well as Prismacolors and aren't as rich in pigment. I'm definitely not the most experienced artist, having only been drawing for a short period of time, but I think that these pencils give a great outcome and are very easy to use. I have nothing but praise for these pencilsIf you are wondering whether to take the plunge , wonder no more, go for it, but get the biggest set you can afford, you will not regret it. They're very soft so give a smooth finish on any type of paper that I've used so far, mostly just use standard printing paper.

The Polychromos themselves are a lot more durable and provide just as great pigment but are a lot more expensive. I have had no issues with breaking at all not even with the single pencils sent through the post.

My plan now is to build the set by buying individual pencils as I need them and hopefully get the complete set over a matter of time. They arrived the following day and I am happy to report that they came in pristine condition in a nicely made tin box.

However if they arrive damaged they are awful to work with and it becomes very frustrating, especially considering how much you pay for them. Unlike other cheap pencil brands I have used before, these blend very nicely and are easy to work with. After watching quite a lot of YouTube tutorials and seeing these pencils make an appearance in more than a few videos, I decided to purchase them and see what they were like. These used to be sold in the UK under the name of Karismacolour and i used them very successfully for mant years.

NO problems with the pencils. Rich in pigment and easy to blend.

:) Well as you have gathered my answer was yes and I got this tin of 72. I bought these pencils recently, and even though I have only had them a few days, I think they're amazing. I’ve attached some quick drawings I’ve done with them but the camera quality is kinda bad so they don’t look that good.
