Firstly I love the neat sturdy tube these come in. But without a needle threader. These come in different sizes and are easier to use. The needle thread holes are not large enough to thread wool directly through.

Plus you can easily see at a glance what needles you have inside it, through the clear tube. Exactly as described Extra large eyes needed to put thread through, regular needles seem to have got smaller. The stopper dose not fall out, but is still easy to open and close.

You get a good sized assortment of needles. For threading just normal cotton through the holes without a threader, the holes truly are bigger.

I was able to tie a piece of cotton the old fashioned way, to get the wool threaded through the hole. But the needles are also bigger and wider, so not for using on all types of fabric or sewing work.
