Percussion drilling of stone materials or concrete is easy, although the performance of a dowel drill is not expected, for small holes in the wall it is more than valid,Mind you, but for higher, more demanding works such as multiple punctures in load-bearing walls or concrete screeds I rely on DHR242, while for drilling metal with higher drill diameters at 7 mm, I use the HP2071. I love it! The battery life was also a huge plus.

Arrived in just over half a day, thanks to Prime, in a cardboard box containing the DHP484Z screwdriver drill, the English user manual, a cut insert size 2 and Phillips cross size 2 and the belt clip to attach it to the strap of the pants when you have to maybe climb a ladder having to have your hands free; this box is inserted in a larger, sturdy, well insulated box with filler and Amazon logo. Great product for small and medium jobs, sturdy and easy to handle, fits the XPT/LXT series 18V batteries. I was able to work for hours without needing to stop and recharge the battery.

ca, as the Makita DHP484Z was not available in my city Big Box or local hardware stores. Purchased from Amazon. Summarizing:MERITS:Brushless motor delivers power and long life, the torque it generates is high enough for housework, consumes much less battery than screwdrivers with charcoal engine, not dispersing energy into friction.
