This book is about letters. It was a quick read, with many witty instances that make you smile. I absolutely love reading books that are comprised of letters if it is well done. The story did lag at a few places, but it was a warming book which made you cheer for the valiant few who try and bring about a solution to the ban.

Read this book in a few hours. HOLY CRAP. The people of Nollop are officially banned from using any letter which falls off the sign. How superstition and lack of judgement in leaders can lead to bad and ridiculous consequences.

How the contents were still present is beyond me Apart from the social interpretation that the story brings forward, it is also a book for people who love the English language 😊 It is a celebration of it.

It is about political power dictating freedom of speech and expression. Read the photo for a quick idea of this book. It seemed like a simple but unique idea and I was curious to see how the author would carry an entire book based on it.

It made me wonder how easily a conversation is happen even with a few letters missing. Well I am sure it is but the book does have a stain down the front I did not expect, and has a sickly sweet smell to it. It is a fictional town named after Nevin Nollop. I am yet to read the book but I am a little disappointed with the condition the book arrived in.
A recommended read when looking for something light and quick to add to your reading list or during travel. If I had known this would be the case, I would have rather had a refund than a smelly stained book. Failure to adhere to the laws leads to many punishments and mayhem.
What becomes obvious is how leaders will do anything to incite fear and maintain absolute power. It is full of alternate words and spellings and coinages.
