** UPDATED ON 2/16/2023 **Changing to 5 stars because it started making ice again when I emptied the ice bucket. It is working perfectly. The second one, received 2/10, was a fake - no authenticator tag, no QR code, and it didn't even fit into the fridge. I guess it was a sensor that stopped from making more ice and not because of water filter.

I was able to replace it easily without turning off the water and didn't have any leak but it doesn't appear to make ice anymore. With the 5 and 6th filter, the Filter light would not go off. Individually these filters cost 1/3 of the Samsung price. ** ORIGINAL REVIEW **I have a Samsung bi-door refrigerator that has automatic ice maker inside but without water fountain.

Might add an additional filter to the fridge externally see if it helps. The media could not be loaded. If you found my review to be of any help, it would be greatly appreciated if you could click the "helpful" button. Must say even after running tons of cups of water after replacing the filter the tds is at a very unhealthy level so that's disappointing.

Will update once I figure out what's going on with my ice maker. BE AWARE! As a result you can see a space around all 4 sides of the filter after it is installed (see photo with pink arrows).
