. I drags up just about anything and I have to be careful when using it in my garage clearing leaves that have been blown in there by the wind en masse as it would be easy to drag up something you don't want mulched.

The vacuum attachment needs a bit of brute strength to push the parts together to assemble. The equipment was easy enough to assemble, seems sturdy, is very powerful and has quite blown away ( pun intended :-) ) my old garden blower/vacuum/shedder in its efficiency in all three tasks. The zip is easy to access, and the bag seems sturdy - it is certainly huge, meaning less stop and starts to empty it than I have been used to. I would give the product 5 stars if it hadn't made bold claims about how silent it is.

However, it is inevitable that whilst drawing up leaves you will drag the odd harder thing into the unit such as a small stone which, could damage a plastic impeller blade. Bag is easy to empty and no dust clouds but once assembled it takes up a lot of room when not in use (as does my old one). My old cheapo one does. I have a Goat - which is the wheeled large leaf vacuum and a really cheap hand carried leaf vac which, is excellent despite costing less than a couple of beers and a burger.

The actual vacuuming is excellent. This Bosch one is a different beast altogether. I had some general leaf litter to test this out. It arrived today and it is excellent.

This is helped, though by the adjustable handle - very easy to do- and by the shoulder strap. Secondly this is heavy - especially in vacuum mode as the bag and the bag contents certainly add weight. For clearing a whole lawn, depending on the size of the lawn, it’s not the most efficient to use this as you’re standing there waving the snout around - v. It shreds the leaves and garden waste very quickly and thoroughly.
