Good performance and whisper quiet. I set up 8 of these 12TB NAS drives in a windows 2019 server using RAID 5 and PERC H330 HBA card. Internet searches did not turn up that info so if you're trying to match part numbers to a "supported HDD" list (like Synology) then this is your answer.

Registering the drives on the Seagates website was easy and quick. Subsequent very fast delivery.

Have fun This is great if there happen to be a defect with a batch of hard drives made on one date, they are less likely to fail all at one time or at least days or hours apart. All 6 worked out of the box without any issues. Very accurate response from client service department to my questions before ordening.

Have a QNAP TR-004 as my ext USB. Well priced too.

There was also a SATA cable in the box. My NAS setup as RAID 0 (20TB Total) and speeds are great.

I wanted a ton of storage, so I bought 6 of the 10 TB model to put in a RAID 6. After reading other reviews I confess I was a little concerned, but I purchased two and they both work perfectly on my Synology 920+.
