I read this in just over a day, such a heartbreaking harrowing story of little Jodie , I was in tears when reading of the pain and abuse that she endured . We have had our first meeting to explore fostering and I wanted to read some real stories. This was my first of Cathy’s books but I’m now on my second.

I loved this product such an amazing book as a 12 coming 13 year old reader these books really hit hard and make me realise how hard it may be for children in foster care deffo recommend! Instantly gripped by both Jodie’s story and that of Cathy’s. I picked this book up and couldn’t put it down.

! As a mum myself I often get cross with my kids but I feel guilty as hell after, but her parents were evil personified and quite frankly I hope they die a painful death, ideally the same methods as they hurt Jodie .
I wanted to scream at times and cried as I read what both Jodie and Cathy experiences.
