There is a loop in the soft case where you could attach a carabiner to keep on a key chain. 15. 13. I highly recommend this recorder.

I find the playback much clearer, and having a lavalier clip-on mike is much more convenient rather than having to hold the DVR. I don't currently see the need to purchase additional external microphones as the sensitivity is excellent.
