There is a button on the ball to set it off on its way. Just pull out the tab. Twist it open to see the battery pack. It rolls around, stops then repeats.
This ball is about the size of a small melon. I also noticed that my dog enjoyed following this around too! It takes 3 aaa batteries which are included!
The motor makes a buzzing/ hissing sound as it’s moving.
