Then we throw it away and the dog mopes and whines until we buy a new one. It's activated on impact so she can chuck it around and paw at it and it'll restart the barking and shaking of the toy.

The hard plastic may or may not be responsible for chipping and blunting her teeth. Eventually the holes in the ball collect dust and the constant bouncing wears on the gears and breaks them. Longer in the summer when she spends less time inside.

2. So ultimately I gave it 4 stars because my dog is obsessed with it but it has a few flaws that keep it from being 5. The media could not be loaded. As a small puppy she was a little afraid of it at first but once she got over that it quickly became her number one toy.

Ruby is an intelligent corgi and she has made a practice of taking the inner ball out of the wolf tail part. My dog loves this toy so much that she plays with it constantly until it’s so broken that we have to throw it away and then she mopes until we get her a new one. We’re not 100% sure it’s this ball but we think it might be because she bites it while it’s bouncing.
