I can notice quite a big difference in taste using the filters and dont get a horrible film on my cuppa as I get when using water straight from the tap. However these are not quite as noticeable and slightly easier to remove in comparison to the glass kettle with NO filter I used to have.

The capacity of water it holds is a little over one litre which really I have found is 3 and a half cups, so if we have guests I usually have to reboil the kettle for the last cup. It is very easy to see how much water you have in it because of the clear side wall. I live in a hard water area and was fed up with the scale build up in my old kettles so I thought it pay a bit more for a filter kettle. Tea and coffee taste great!

I have just moved to Hull which has hard water. After reading lots of reviews on Amazon and on various other sites I decided to order this one, plus it was on offer. A very beautiful product!

Love it but only 4 cups of tea After 3 months of using the kettle once sometimes twice a day I can see faint hard water marks on the bottom of the kettle and still have to wipe the inside of the glass to remove water marks. The filter sits in the top of the kettle so water starts to drain through as you fill it (2nd pic). My tea, coffee and herbal tea tastes amazing and my cups are easier to clean.

I've only had it a week but I'm hoping it will last longer than my previous kettles. When boiling a blue light illuminates the kettle; which is a nice added feature. It boils the water very quickly, has nice blue lights that illuminate when boiling.

It's the brita filters that I am less impressed with, when I have used the brita ones I have up, I will be trying the own supermarket brand ones as suggested by others. Easy to set up.
