Because they’re small, it’s allowed for a lot more to go into the cage such as an extra wheel and other toys that I think would crowd a Syrian in this cage. The media could not be loaded. Would recommend but prepare to buy extras and tweak.

This cage took quite a bit of tweaking for them and clipping the floors in level can be a real faff. The spacious design is a definite plus, offering plenty of room for my furry friend to explore and play. It’s best to have an all wire cage rather than one that’s mainly Perspex by the way, as the airflow is better for the hams.

this was probably helped along by not having any Amazon external packaging (they seem to be excluding doing this a lot lately). I've read reviews about it being too small for gerbils. My hamster certainly seems happy in this. We now have to send this cage back to Amazon and need to order another one.

It’s like Houdini so hopefully this will stop it. but just be careful and inspect the item fully when it arrives. Attached are photos of the cracked/broken components. You’ve got to provide your ham with interesting stuff, just don’t dump them in a cage and think they’re happy.
