! I'm an artist and am always nervous how my content will look on people's phones, etc. However, u can search up the color file online from some website which should able to improve the color accuracy of the monitor. As with previous versions, the Elite version provides enhanced StudioMatch with visual verification to calibrate multiple monitors (even across multiple computers), along with SoftProof that simulates how your photos will look on any other device or printer/output service.

The Elite version costs more because it has more software features. As an added bonus, the SypderX Mac OS X calibration software is finally 64-bit native, although DataColor promises a 64-bit update for older calibrators is coming this summer. On my 2016 MacBook Pro, while the software installed I had to try numerous times for it to finally recognize the SpyderX was plugged in (and each time I had been careful to plug directly into a USB port not through a hub as instructed).

The Spyder software gave me an awful calibration. DataColor also provides Windows software, although I didn't have the opportunity to test this. I've owned 3 generations of the Datacolor Spyder calibration and each generation has gotten slightly better until now.

its the last option for any personal user to buy one of this. This device gave me that confidence. But calibrating multiple monitors to match each other is manual where the user needs to input in the end, which is annoying since I can never get multiple monitors to look exactly the same.

Great product, but consider the price of this, if u are not a professional designer that need to calibrete ur monitor once a month or have a ton of mobitor need to calibrete then might just get a secondhand one which might be a lot cheaper. Like previous versions, installation and setup was a bit hit-or-miss on two different Macs I own. It worked great and fast.

It's like getting a pair of glasses and seeing clearly for the first time. I suspect this provides the greater color accuracy and speed. Usually I'm too nervous to fine tune colors because of no confidence in my display!
