I was expecting to have to pay £50 for a decent one. ! And zoom allows you to see far in the distance. The torch itself feels great in the hand, strong, sturdy with a nice metal grip - could be rubber for a more premium feel.

It's also quite heavy but this is mainly due to the sheer mass of batteries inside. Handy lower brightness (battery save/avoid dazzling) and flashing mode.

9% of the time you just want a standard bright/not so bright mode! Just saying! The torch is well made and incredibly bright and has an easily adjustable beam spread right up to a lazer focus if needed. Ummm … I’m getting sidetracked … anyway, the torch is quite big, tough and heavy to clout something with but not the sort of device you can hold in your teeth as you’re panicking to unlock a door while carrying your pet and trying to escape from scary things that come out at night.

Enforce £12 I can’t even say bad about it. It’s made out of a heavy metal. :o) INDOORS: unlit loft, under stairs cupboard, under the sofa all look like bright sunlight is shining on them.

Absolutely fantastic light fir the money Super bright light I do night photography it came in handy when I was down in Hull last week it was that bright even the Coast Guard could see it BUT, maybe the manic strobe is of value to you if you are worried about safety as this super-fast flash mode could easily be used as a good defensive strategy perhaps to deter hostile approaches by bears, monsters or aliens! So feels expensive.
