There are far too many examples to go through here. A few examples include: how in Moscow they use an innovative method to make sure you’re heading the right way on the train, why return journeys feel faster than outward journeys, how names of trains or neighbourhoods can affect behaviour and what the knock-on effects are. I’ve followed Rory Sutherland on YouTube for several years and have learnt an enormous amount about how to view problems through a human lens rather than a factual / data / technical lens (which is what I naturally do as an IT Professional). Overall, I would highly recommend this book to anyone that needs to improve the quality of decision-making and anyone else who is fascinated by human behaviour.

There are many examples of how simple changes to our everyday lives can dramatically improve satisfaction, efficiency, and happiness. The insights in this book are fascinating regardless of whether you work in transport or not.
