If you try to do too much, your results might well be patchy. Also not thrilled about the plastic pods but I took the choice to buy them so. The only thing I don't like about the process are that the recommended cycle - a 40 degree cotton wash - takes three hours on my machine and you need to run it twice. Remove all wrapping and the foil “lid” off the top to allow the dye powder to be released.

I dyed my denim faded jacket and the top photo is the before, and the after photo shows it has turned out a lovely blue. The media could not be loaded. They have the texture of jeans but are uniformly dyed like chinos. When you dye jeans with this, it will dye all the fabric.

Very pleased with turned out have already ordered another one. Different fabrics, different outcomes.

So have no need for stonewashed jeans. - Synthetic fabrics (including threads) will not colour.

Followed the very simple instructions and I now have a pair of Levi’s in the shade I want for minimal outlay. 4. Dye them while they're still wet.
