I think i will give up trying to use the steam and just use it as a normal hair straightener Or you could just turn steam off altogether.
The Sheep Queen
Like with all straighteners you need to do a single swipe of your hair or you end up with striping but I didn't feel it glide easily with bits of my hair especially at the bottom catching which could cause some damage. The steam also helps to keep the hair hydrated and my daughter has noticed a real improvement in her hair as she has incredibly thick and naturally curly long hair that her previous straighteners struggled to cope with unless using at very high temperatures that dry out and damage the hair.

This one is great, the steam function adds some protection to her hair and straightens it brilliantly - as good as her previous pair. So, this hair straightener uses steam which is beneficial to hair that is dry, brittle and needs moisture. You can lock and unlock the plates using the level pictured at the end of the straightener.

The Envie Steam Hair Straighteners have the look and feel of a premium product and they are beautifully engineered. Love these and so does my hair As i have quite thin hairEasy set up as just fill the tank with water Adjustable heat settings I went for the middle one on my hairLove the fact it has a auto shut down if not used in 60 mins and yes it actually did shut down :DCame with a velvet carry bag and little bottle to fill upIm impressed my only downfall is that they are heavy So bear in mind if you have long hair and not much strength in your arms They are suitable for curly, frizzy, dry, fragile or damaged hair and they are something I’d happy recommend as they are much better value than my daughters previous straighteners and she is delighted with the overall improvement to the health and look of her hair.

As a hair straightener it works very well, leaving hair straight very quickly. They heat up to maximum temperature in an impressive 2 minutes and have auto shut-off after 60 minutes. The rotating cord is a handy feature that makes life a little easier and there is a hanging loop for storage.
