Paul Doodson

I've found all his books leave a little lesson with you, so we can make our lives a little better. You just can’t help but like her. Security guards at the museum, they meet for 5 minutes every day, to handover, Daisy, fastidious, a little cold, who works the evening shift, broken, hiding a deep dark secret that's followed her throughout her life, something she did when she was younger that was very VERY bad.

Lyn

Daisy and Nate. She doesn’t get jokes, lives her life planned to the very minute and is reluctant to look for friendship or love.

📚 Book Review 📚#thehandover@davidmbarnett🌟🌟🌟🌟Oh Daisy, the slightly strange, loner, OCD museum security guard with a mysterious and troublesome past. He writes in such an engaging way that you see a little of yourself in the characters.

Why do we carry the baggage round of our past mistakes and regrets? I loved her and her quirkiness so much. A great, easy and brilliantly written book.

I find his writing so resonates with me, characters you care about, an excellent plot, I also loved the chapters being divided up into "Daisy" and "Nate" written from their perspectives. A failed relationship with Lucia and trying to be a good Dad to the best of his ability to his Son Ben.

Nate, works the day shift, happy go lucky, son of the famous fighter Terry Garvey, running away from his past and the violence he and his Mum suffered from his Dad. "Daisy works nights. And five minutes is all it takes to change their lives forever".
