We came back from two weeks to the United States where we bought a prepaid T-Mobile SIM card ($50 for 10GB in 4G then unlimited in reduced bitrate) to put it in this small device (really small, a little bigger than a credit card and thick as 13 credit cards)In Los Angeles, everything works fine, we had between 2 and 5 devices connected on it (iPhones, iPad), I did not measure the battery life precisely, but I would say it lasts about 4-5h with normal use+ (social networks, Google searches, and near-permanent google maps on minimum 2 devices). And on top of that, if you already have a wireless connection at home, this device can work as a wireless repeater!

FYI: you have an internet failure in your neighborhood, for your computer no more connection. I was looking at several portable wifi and this Huawei convinced me, I have taken it on several of my trips abroad and it works perfectly. (for those who do not want to use WIFI). I used a micro 10gb data SIM from EE, place it so contacts are downwards and bottom right is the cutoff corner of SIM.

you have 4G, no problem, you can replace the internet with the Huawei. I had to add an APN by hand typing in two fields only the word “iliad” (without quotation marks) and it is immediately connected onthe internet The display is many intuitive, and shows the name of the handler (iliad, Vodafone, TIM etc), the name of Wireless, and optional password (default hidden). I also kept it plugged into an external battery, or into the car and didn't have to worry about it anymore.

We can't wait longer with a small battery, but if you have the possibility to charge it (in the car or from the computer) the charging is fast enough. You just have to buy the SIM of the country you are going to and it works without any problem. I've had it for a long time and I'm very happy.

Also the Wifi signal is pretty good. So this model E5785-92C is slightly bigger, battery size requires. Although in the picture (with lighter for scale) it’s shown on the window cill, plugged into the mains power and an external aerial, it functions well enough without either and away from the window.
