About this deal
Microfiber: This Professional Microfiber made by Japanese Raw Materials, very soft and easy to cleaning lens, filters, glasses and mobile etc. The Marumi DHG Vari ND2-ND400 filter allows continuously variable light adjustment through from ND2 to ND400. Traditionally speaking, ND filters have different f-stop reduction numbers and transmittance thus generated can be applied for different shooting conditions, such as portraiture, water falls, etcAllow cine/video cameras, which have a fixed shutter-speed range, to film on brighter lighting conditions such as the beach or in snow on a sunny dayUltra slim frame are essential for avoiding vignetting when shooting at wider anglesND Filter: Made by Completed Professional Optical Glasses instead of Optical Resin. Features: These filters reduce the amount of light passing through the camera lens without changing the color of the scene. Motion Variable ND Filter allows you to adjust your camera to any environment. Designed without compromise for the photographer, filmmaker or casual shooter. The main features are Adjustable ND2-ND400 light control. They are especially useful in bright light conditions to help prevent overexposure.
- (Note: The above neutral density levels are just some normal examples for reference, the real ND Scale is step less and gradual
- Index marks on the edge of filter for exact adjustment.
- 2) ND4: Being able to lower 2 levels aperture and 75% light quantity.
- Eliminates overly bright, washed-out images
- 3) ND8: Being able to lower 3 levels aperture and 87.
- Large aperture is available to create depth of field easily.
- Apply slow shutter speed under strong sunlight exposure.
- Neutral density can be adjusted from ND2 to ND400, and it is easy to create different neutral density by rotating the ring.
- Allows slower shutter speeds to produce blurred motion effects
- 4) ND400: Being able to lower 9 levels aperture and light quantity, perfectly suitable for sun-shooting with long-exposure.
- Variable ND Filter is suitable for day-shooting while your camera is set in high Aperture and low shutter speed to create special effect.

Setting the exposure is a dance between the shutter speed, the aperture, the ISO, and the filter density. The reason I have this is to be able to take longer exposure photographs to get water and clouds to blur. Man do I love this filter. Below, I posted some photos I shot with it of a waterfall.

. As much as I value having enough light when shooting, I never thought that I'd be in situations where I had too much light. I am able, without the hood, to use the lens all the way at the 12mm wide focal length. Add others have mentioned, the points marked on the filter don't correspond to any specific for strength.

I ordered and received this filter and went shooting with my Nikon D750. There isn't significant tinting even with the maximum strength of the filter. Then the front part of the filter is larger.

I purchased this 77mm variable ND years ago and got quite a bit of use from it. ! The ring rotates smoothly.

Please refer to the attached pictures. I am using this on a Micro Four Thirds Lumix 12-35mm lens.

The filter is great and smooth as you choose between stops. o. I have read that it is larger to reduce the amount this lens blocks light at the corners of wide angle lenses.
