Through Tobi's personal story and the book's many case-studies. I had a bit of a wobble when I read this book. I would recommend this book to any woman but especially to new mums and working women who are thinking about having kids.

3 things I learned from the book:- How to build resilience, increase happiness and reduce stress. This was a book I wish I read 5 years ago, way before my boys, way before the myth of balance threw me off scent.

Important topics that aren't really discussed, this book gives practical advice about the law and policy when it comes to conceiving and work. The type of ambition I personally strive for is as a Proverbs 31 woman and her blend can sometimes be described as beyond ambitious! "Your financial security is their financial security"A quote that I loved and that personally resonated with me by way of my love of all things squiggly careers:"I don't believe in career ladders, because ladders imply a straightforward journey with equal steps.
