Most importantly, unless you are replacing and exciting hole-lock, you’ll need an appropriate sized hole drill (26 mm) and a strong drill. And would have preferred it if a wider alternative buckle was included.

Correct tools make for an easier job. These are easily purchased separately however. My only real concern is that, although the product description says "Heavy Duty Elongated Keep to Compensate Gate Sag" there is actually very little room for vertical movement and I am sure I am going to have trouble as the gate moves up and down depending on the weather. It took me less than half an hour to put the lock in place.

Also supplied with 5 keys which is great compared to other locks usually only supplying 3 keys. Great long throw gate lock. Why on earth couldn't the keep have been made with a decent amount of room for manoeuvre?
