So I would categorize it under the following genre: mystery sci-fi thriller. In places it was quite creepy and you have a sense of something being very very off with some of the characters. *spoiler alert* He takes you into this town where everything is not as it seems with the people and the place, and each turn gets stranger and stranger. I'll keep the book review short.

I love how the author is attention to detail. The novel is inspired by tv show Twin Peaks, so if you are a fan of twin peaks, lost or Harlan Coben novels, then this is the right choice for you.
