I'm practically minded and after watching some videos it made changing the strings less scary, just making sure the string wraps around the tuners whilst correctly holding tension until the string has wound enough times is crucial. Power Slinky were my go to choice for Drop C but with the top strings also being slightly heavier, I wasn't enjoying string bends as much. So far so good; nice bright sound, feel good to play. I use them on all my electric guitars, and I do a lot of recording in the studio where clarity and tone are king and they are perfect.

I used these years ago, and I recently got a new guitar and needed better strings to replace the factory fitted ones so tried these again. Ernie Ball truly hit the nail on the head with this set.

I have used a different make for the last 10 years or more BUT as my Pals in Cats in Space use these I have got them on my Gibson SG my Bernie Marsden PRS and my Tele. For me theses are great on a 25. I have used other gauges and they are also very good. I'm sure if you use these on a baritone scale you could tune alot lower.

Decent strings for anyone looking to tune lower then D. It's only been a few days so it remains to be seen if they are as durable as they used to be, but no complaints yet. . The sound is perfect.

I would recommend them highly. They sound great, rarely break, and last for a long time. Havent had a string break like this before, its almost always a break at the bridge. The colour coding and labeling work very well to distinguish the correct strings and lay all the packets out neatly, doing a string at a time was made easy with these.
