Many of M's experiences are relatable to any teen, but her anxiety is described in a way that is understandable to the layperson. I am a middle school teacher and many of my students are autistic. The reader gets first hand knowledge of the autistic child as well as the family she has.
I am sharing this book with other teachers as well as students. I loved the insight this book provided. Loved it and just ordered the sequel.
