I started with a fairly simple pattern, the bear and loved it. If i had any recommendations to give a prospective purchaser it would be to ensure you faithfully use a row counter!

As usual with these things, it helps to have some experience of knitting toys, but it's not essential. Already on another and I bought the farm toy book and have started George the Dog too.

Please see my review for the first book; Knitted Animal Friends. Have knit the monkey and panda so far but also horse, pig, mouse and hare and children love dressing them. The patterns are easy to follow and the clothes can fit all the animals. I love these designs and they are very easy to follow.

The detail is amazing and love that clothes interchangeable between the furry friends. This book is as clearly written as the first and an absolute delight to work from. I knitted the monkey for my youngest grandson and have plans to work through the book.
