  • Add ya cheese (a shitty american slice and a slice of swiss is my favourite combo) and add the burger top then place a cloche over with a squirt of water to steam that cheese and bun lid!
  • Season your patty and flip once its half cooked.
  • Place ball upon the heated surface and squish or 'smash' the burger mince into the pan with your newly purchased and rather exciting burger smasher until the mince- now burger patty- is approx 1cm thick.
  • Remove the smasher and wipe clean for the next burger.
  • The 100% contact with the hot surface allows for maximum crustage.
  • And that's a smash burger.
  • Heat your skillet, Plancha or pan to a hot heat.
  • Get a 20% fat Chuck/ Brisket beef mince mix and form into an 80-90 gram ball.

My only minor gripe is that I would have preferred a round profile to the base so that it could maneuver better within the confines of a large round pan. It is lightweight but easy to clean and use. This is stainless steel & durable.

That being said, it has rounded corners whereas some of the competitive products have less rounded or square corners. Works amazing for Smashed Burgers! It’s a staple now in preparing burgers.

Makes burger easy. This worked far better than my spatula to produce great smash burgers. It was great. I that I can use something very sturdy easy to wash and will last a long time thank you so much.

I was initially looking for a cast iron version for the extra weight factor, but after using this stainless steel version tonight, I realized that extra weight was not a real factor at all and completely unnecessary. Made delicious burgers with it! It perfectly flattens the burger & making it perfectly round.
