I personally haven’t had any problems with slipping only a couple of years ago when we had the beast from the east which would make any surface slippery when turning to ice. Generally very happy! For now it looks the part, ready for another season.

I cleaned decking prior and used two coats. Followed the instructions and it went on really well. It’s freshly painted, so it looks clean.

Which originally took five 2. 5 litres of Cuprinol anti-slip decking stain Vermont Green. A few months on and there is a little fade but still looks good.

5 L tin says it will cover 20 m² with two coats depending on the surface, as I said I am painting fairly liberally and it has covered about 23 m² but with one coat. I used a wallpaper paste brush on the end of an extension pole and it took no time to apply. We went ahead and used the product anyway as rain threatened and we needed to get something on the wood; it went on smoothly and was dry within the hour. We bought an expensive non slip oil based product to go on top of the Cuprinol oil.

I originally used the Cuprinol decking sponge pad and pole to make life a lot easier, but this Time I have decided to use a paintbrush instead. It looks absolutely fabulous and we’re very happy with the finished look! It is now two years since I first stained the decking with this Cuprinol 2.

5 liters. The whole area was looking rather tired and shabby and had seen much better days.

Because several areas had started to fade and peel for some unknown reason. 5 liters are enough to cover 20 meters with 2 layers using brush. Too easy to use in a sprayer so I made a few overlap deeper tone colours,but nevertheless this oak coloured oil transformed cheap 2010 Scandinavian pine into visually 15th centuryprime British oak! Very slight tint which is nice but otherwise enhances woods natural colour.
