My husband complains if im not there to keep the bed warm lol. Heat is fast and the low settings are very gentle. its not the same as listed. As people have commented, there is about 6” around the edge of the blanket without heated cables.

I think it helps ensure there’s someone there to regulate and monitor it. Really happy with my choice of a Sunbeam electric blanket. He hated me waking him up with my cold hands and feet when I came to bed .
