It’s completely silent. If not then it’s a good digital clock to have for the price and good value for money. When switching to either radio or Bluetooth it illuminates telling you either the station number or your or on Bluetooth, then after a short while it goes back to displaying the time with a little FM or BT in the display to let you know if you didn’t!

Excellent unit, stylish and easy to use. I suppose it is okay if the power point is at floor level but most worktops have a power point above so the cables can hang down and hidden. Being a light sleeper I would definitely hear it. I keep my mobile phones a long time, and the first thing which wears has been the USB hole.

Bluetooth pairing with my phone was quick and easy. The FM radio is simple to operate and the instruction manual takes you through setting up the clock with the minimum of fuss.

Would be nice to have day and date s well. It is just right. It has battery back up and comes with a power supply & lead, and the usual thin white wire lead that is the Ariel for the radio. This definately does fit the bill.

A usb connection is also on the back for charging a phone if it’s not wireless QI certified compatible and or another usb device that requires a charge. The buttons do sound a little cheap when pressed but work as they should. I did wonder why the unit didn't set up it's clock off the fm radio signals, but never mind. The biggest disappointment is the power supply.

I like the dimmable clock display as I can't sleep with too bright a light in the bedroom. The solution is to not use it and charge the phone on a pad. Not the best in design, however it serves our purpose for the price. I would recommend this product.

So glad I went ahead and purchased. You place your phone onto the top of the device and phone will charge even through a phone case.
