The pieces just pull/push off and on. To fit the corner clamp simply unclip the outer soft clamp covers on the heavy duty clamp, and replace with the corner clamps as shown in my photo.

This is a useful Irwin clamp accessory, that enables you to clamp a 90' corner with one clamp. I am sure that they will be useful for future DIY woodworking projects and domestic repairs, e. Note: you can only use this with the medium and heavy duty clamps.

I used them to re-glue some drawers and they held firm and true. The pieces are reasonably easy to attach to the Irwin Quick Grip clamp but the jaws were a very tight fit and needed persuasion from leaning on and a rubber mallet.

Just swap the pads on the clamp, with the 2 supplied pieces of the corner clamp. I wondered whether this is a deliberate design feature to allow the jaws to give slightly to spread and maintain a tight grip on the workpiece but the plastic is very rigid so I can't comment further on this issue. g.
In use, it works well. Therefore, I am 100% satisfied with the product and will go ahead and order three more to make a set of four.
