The Blowing Stone Wild Strawberry Gin | 700ML Tasting Notes
You will notice a freshness from our Japanese tea, alongside a lengthy sherbet finish from the hand-picked gorse and orris root. A contemporary rendition of a bedside classic, this NUDE Smooth lamp brings together the delicate fragility of opaque crystalline glass with a solid strength of a stone base. The name comes from a stone used to summon troops to the Battle of Ashdown back in the year 871 (it made a loud noise when you blew through it – it wasn't like a magic stone that teleported people), and the range features botanicals that would have been foraged or readily available at the time. "The Blowing Stone gins have been lovingly crafted using carefully selected botanicals. The resulting piece reveals a beautiful balance — both modest and thoroughly contemporary at the same time. All Ichendorf pieces are hand-blown and produced by hand in Italy. VOLUME: 500ml ALCOHOLIC GRADUATION: 45% vol. MARMALADE OLD TOM GIN 50ml… They’ve taken the archetypal flavour of the Seville orange and distilled it with a gorgeous combination of botanicals, infused more Seville Orange peel and then added a slight sweetness to create a citrus-forward, contemporary gin built on the backbone of British tradition.

So glad I did. I especially love the the enclosed leaflet with the story of the gin and what they have done with the brand; it’s quite cool. This is a really lovely tasting gin, with great smooth flavour, not harsh like some I’ve tried, especially with Fever Tree tonic and some cucumber. What a lovely surprise.

Roll on your pipeline samples. This must be one of the best gins I have ever tried. The Blowing Stone Wild Strawberry delights, the gin is subtle, the perfect hint of strawberries with a very drinkable gin as a solid back drop. Even the bottle feels and looks quality.

The effect on the palate coupled with the most amazing aftertaste gives an almost instant addiction. I’m a big fan of flavoured gins, but this one has gone to the top of my list as my new favourite go to gin.
I don’t think it will last long on my shelf. Nice touch to offer a discount on the other flavours; Crab Apple and ginger will be the next one to try. . Going to try it next with an elderflower Fever Tree.
I thought I’d give this gin a try based on the recommendation of a friend. This gin is very refreshing and repeatable. ( may I please be employed as your sampler in chief )
