9. This is a solid horror movie that stays serious and bloody, a must watch for fans of the genre and the series alike. Someone finds and reads the passages from the book and boom its demon time! i was very very impressed.

. i’m not gonna lie. I’ve enjoyed every Evil Dead movie, but for me the 2013 and this latest instalment are the best and brutal. This movie goes right for the jugular too when it comes to blood and gore, there's lots and lots in small doses once the action gets started, and wow what a finale, crazy ending with all sorts of carnage you wont forget!

4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray both have a great picture. The inner artwork is also great along with the back, a minor detail that I feel I should mention is that only the 4K is Region Free while the blu ray is Region B locked. Evil Dead was a great wrap up to that whole series, but I also loved the reboot, and the grimmer tone that replaced the camp humour of EDII and Medieval Dead.
