The main character is well introduced at the beginning of the book and you just knew he was in for a bumpy ride and I for one wanted him to succeed. I actually found myself being quite drawn to Carter and everything he deals with.

It’s a rollercoaster ride of excitement, drama, trust issues and more excitement and drama. Not completely.

Nice read. Chris Ryan has a fabulous writing style describing in great detail the story, the setting, the areas it’s set in and also how the characters are feeling. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

I loved the pace of the book, going just fast enough to keep you wanting to read on. Finished this just under two weeks. Well let me tell you I have been missing out, what a brilliant and thrilling read. Enjoyed reading the book.

Light footed story. Liked it but it didn't grab me and pull me in. You feel as if you’re there with them!

I have no idea if the military descriptions are accurate but knowing Chris Ryan’s background I am certain it is all spot on. A great plot with a great setting. If like me you would normally not pick up a book of this genre then I urge you to give Outcast a try.
