Both products contain Sweet Almond oil, Shea Butter, Citrus Fruit oil and Rose Flower oil. Both cleansing balms have a similar texture which deeply cleanses the skin and effectively removing makeup. If you frequently repurchase the Elemis Cleansing Balm or have always wanted to try it but not sure about the price point the M&S Ultimate Cleanse Rose Cleansing Balm is a great affordable alternative! The M&S and Elemis cleansing balm equally nourish leaving it feeling plump and smooth whilst being able to remove makeup, and build up of dirt. Clove Leaf oil, Grape oil and Jojoba oil. The M&S cleansing balm contains 13 of the same ingredients as Elemis and they both have Sweet Almond Oil as their first ingredient. The Elemis cleansing balm has more of a 'spa like' scent whilst the M&S balm has a rose scent.

I have loved & used CeraVe ointment for a long time but it's a bit up there in price (115% more than this). PROS: There are only 5 ingredients & I can pronounce them all. CONS: None.

I also use this in my beard at night before bed to keep it soft . I enjoy massaging this balm around my face focusing on my nose and acne to help lift dead skin, remove blackheads and prep the skin for exfoliation and masking without over stressing it.

I suggest removing first with a wet hot rag, massaging the face, aiding in exfoliation and then following up with a cleanser and the rest of your skincare routine. )When it's time to reorder, I will do Subscribe & Save on this. This product is amazing! When I put the balm on my face, I look like a climber sweep 😂😂 but the makeup wipes off completely with the smallest amount of balm!

(BTW, I didn't realize until I got it that it's made in Canada. A little truly goes a long way.

Highly recommend For a night treatment, I am using this solo or (when my skin is really dried out) with the regular night cream I love (which happens to be from CeraVe! I’ve used this product for my sweat belt for the gym. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

The price is within my budget to buy on a regular basis. Also, some CeraVe products, I can use on my body but not my face so switching to a less pricey CeraVe cream didn't help.
