I remove the lid after that as the spoon you get hits the sides of the holed lid and so it's easy to eat without lid. I never write reviews but feel the need to write one here. Got this delivered yesterday, popped in the freezer for a few hours and voilà slushie goodness. Pop on the lid then squeeze turning the cup as you go along.

We got it this afternoon, washed it and popped it straight into our freezer (-18). Do not pour all the drink in all at once and use a drink that has been in the fridge for hours, never pour in room temperature liquid, it won't work. I wanted to leave it overnight but my son wanted instant slushy….

Easy to use, found it worked best with a fizzy drink, slush for a bit then topped up till the can was empty. One thing I’d read was that drinks should be the fat version, no sugar free versions here!

Then take the cup out and as soon as you pull it out, pour the chilled drink straight in BUT only a third of the way up and squeeze fast and hard with the tips of your fingers all around from the base up, using your whole hand will warm it too much. Still tastes great though.
