He is good at his job and in getting people to talk about the world of politics and the secrets they hold about other cabinet ministers and there staff. Gil is a political journalist for a popular London newspaper . This isn’t a book I would normally pick up from the shelf but I will definitely be broadening my reading, it is a brilliant first book from Robert Peston , I hope they will be more especially a series maybe?

? Gil private life is not as good though he’s had a massive falling out with his sister (a few years before) his parents are very much at arms length and he can’t seem to keep relationships. ! Can he uncover the true before they get to him too!

Then his sister is tragically knocked off her bike and killed at first it appears to just be an awful accident but Gil can’t let it go and has he gets deeper in he finds himself in danger! Would of liked a better ending but it does leave it open to another sequel
