While there aren't many UK banks that support it, you can open a Curve account for free, add your credit card to it and Garmin will accept the Curve card details. I was previously exclusively a runner but wanted something with more multi-activity options. How cool is that! I'm still only just touching the surface of what this watch can do but so far it's impressing the hell out of me.

And that solar panel really does come into its own when you're outdoors. Negative:- Screen slightly smaller than the Forerunner, although the watch looks less comically large if you’re wearing it through the day.

If I had my time again I think I would have gone for the bigger Instinct 2X just for the bigger screen, or maybe just saved up more and bought a Fenix 7 or a Epix 2. When I Start a walk or bike ride it’s 2/3 clicks to record time and distance.

It's really comfortable and light as a feather aswell. It weighs next to nothing compared to my old Fenix 5, and seems very well put togther like most Garmin products. Could charge it and go on a two week holiday and it'll charge off sun while out there!

) I am off out running 4 times a week however with GPS tracking enabled, and this summer has hardly been what you'd call sunny, and so the solar charging hasn't really had a chance to work yet. The battery life is fanominal but if you're tracking on GPS it goes through the battery much quicker. The screen has better resolution and has far more faces to choose from, including from Connect IQ.

The rugged nature of the watch means I can not worry too much when at work or football, I did buy the black little cover to protect it which is good but haven’t bothered with screen protectors tho I would have other watch but the screen lays deep in to the watch. Easy to use, setup and I like the size/look of the watch (chunky without being massive! Love it.
