I've set mine for 7am and 7pm at 10 minutes each. Hanging baskets NB if you want it to come on at, say, 9pm you have to set it at 9pm and wait 24 hours.

Overall I have found the timer useful, using the time when the batteries run out to feed the plants, so you could say the short battery life is a good reminder for me to feed them! Waters the plans every 8pm for 10 minutes. Using 1100mAh rechargeable batteries, these lasts about 5 days when watering twice a day for a minute a time. No issues.

Super easy to set up and have it running my gardena sprinklers system. Just set it up at the time you want. The battery capacity is the largest I can find so not ideal. Setting up the timer is easy, but the battery life has been relatively short.
