Despite the outrage, this is a horror show that deserves its title of "one of the most controversial shows of the decade" I won't discuss Ghostwatch itself, as you will either have seen it or read about it.

I've wanted to see this movie for a long time so I jumped at the chance to purchase the blu-ray. The print is very good indeed for an old TV broadcast, and the whole package is highly recommended. The disc from 101 films has a good 16:9 print of the show.

This is a very handsome set from 101 in a stunning slip case and definitely one for those who collect TV history. The whole presentation came off as very believable and I can just imagine how the original audience in the early 90s totally flipped out seeing actual news reporters get in over their heads! Hard to believe that in 1992 this show caused a media outrage. This is one of those films where you should keep an eye on what's going on in the background as there are some freaky glimpses of ghosts, some obvious and some subtle.

I bought this direct from 101 Films, as one minute it was listed by Amazon and then not. Dare I say I found this to be more scary than anything Hollywood has made over the last 20 years, including the conjuring and Blair witch. I was pleasantly surprised by how well this film was made and how detail oriented it is, not only the film but the boxset presentation here. Watching it now it still has the power to scare and chill the viewer.

There is a copy of the script, a short story booklet and character cards. As many have said, it definitely blurs the lines between fact and fiction.
