I noticed a bunch of water droplets on the top of the lid on the bottom side so I'm wondering if it's leaking through the plastic or maybe A LOT of condensation? I purchased a cover for a fire pit which fit on it nicely. My young toddler is 38lbs and has climbed in with the sand a couple times (I don't let him stay in there and I take him out tho) and it's held up to his weight without damage or bowing.

I put 25lbs of sand into it and it's held up great so far. When you put the lid on make sure that piece of plastic is between the sand box and the lid.

The bottom is also bowed WAY down like a bowl. The top with the road on it wasn't of interest to him once he discovered the sand. I secured it with a bungee cord to keep it intact.

The table is a good height for him now as he was able to stand comfortably and play. I'm rating it a four as it may not be a practical purchase for someone with older/taller children. I was looking for a small, yet decent sized sandbox for my covered porch area and this sandbox did not disappoint.

The lid has held up in rain and snow so far and kept the sand clean and dry. My kids still love it.
