My old utility room cupboards had really yellowed but were otherwise in good condition. I was quite wary of painting my kitchen cabinets but really wanted to change the colour from the light wood effect so I bit the bullet and started my project. One tin of paint was enough for two coats on the outside of 8 tall doors, 2 smaller doors and one floor to ceiling larder cupboard.

! I washed them down and gave them a quick rub with fine sandpaper. I’ve managed to do 4 cupboard doors (front and back), a cooker hood and some shelving all with the one small tin.

Two coats was all it took and I am delighted with the effect. I cleaned with sugar soap then followed the instructions on the tin. I did two coats and it turned out great!

Over the moon, i sugar soaped them prior to applying the paint, some bits needed a second coat but mainly 1 coat was enough, 1 tin of paint was enough and more for my whole kitchen ). Was a bit scared to paint my fitted wardrobes which I first loved when I got installed over 15 years ago (and cost me a small fortune so really didn't want to fork out for new ones! I decided to buy this paint to bring some light into our dark kitchen.
