It performs its function perfectly since the keyboard fits perfectly above the tray and I have plenty of space to use the mouse. Keep in mind that the length of the legs is different and that greatly influences the position of the board. I bought it so that I could comfortably play the PC with the keyboard above my legs and that it wouldn't be tipping over continuously. Another point in its favor is that the back pad can be changed position, so both my husband and I can use it and both maintain a horizontal position on the board.
