I can highly recommend this set for every Lego and Harry Potter fan. A great build as usual from the Harry Potter Lego team in Billund, Denmark! There are many details spread evenly all around the set.

It is a little bit fragile like all large Lego buildings and you have to exercise some caution when playing. I would say that it is even more interesting than The Great Hall set. The build takes time but the instructions are clear, detailed and really are step by step so it feels relatively simple to construct.

This fits on the other end of the Whomping Willow set and I really couldn't be happier. A price tag can be a bit putting off, but I think it is worth to watch it for a while and count on one of Amazon’s promos or price reduction due to a deal.

! They are all small but you can get at least one mini figure in each along with their furnishings. 09Build Time: 3.

Please note that Ernie Prang’s minifigure (the older man in glasses, wearing a sand colour clothing is not included – it is pictured due to the fact that my kids had such a great time playing with this set that they mixed up minifigures from several sets and this one was the one I didn’t pick up prior to making photos… Now an Astronomy Tower turned into other, bigger project and I cannot re-do the photos :-) ). Lego Hogwarts Castle Astronomy Tower is one of the best Lego Harry Potter sets which you can buy. Built with one child and three adults doing different sections but a child who enjoys following the instructions would get plenty of time to build it.

Some really nice touches like the mandrakes that you can pull out the pots and see their little faces. Lots of play potential. It connects to other pieces of the Hogwarts castle set, so you have one large set to play with and look at. There are 8 minifigures in total and they include: Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville, Luna, Draco, Lavender Brown, Professor Slughorn and 1 animal figure – Hedwig.
