). The text is very clear and readable, and although the charts are also clear, they are not printed with black ink, but in a different, single, colour which matches the yarn colour of the photo. Stitches are by type (see Contents pages in Amazon's "Look inside" feature for the categories), and are a lovely, varied, range.
The photos themselves are excellent quality, but I would have preferred a yarn that clearly showed the stitch details to be used, rather than one that's chosen for just a pretty colour. All the samples are photographed against a white background, which works well for the darker coloured yarns, but less so for the lighter-coloured ones. UK crochet terminology is used throughout, but there's a really clear and comprehensive section at the start of the book that shows how all the basic stitches (e.
