Do Not microwave. The instructions are in Japanese. So, unless you want to use it for decoration purposes or pens, I think it is a great buy. However, I didn't read the description very carefully.

The chemicals could link to cancer. Cute mug but tiny. I bought this mug for the price. Besides the small size, its adorable.

It won't matter if it hot or cold. Which means, if you drink from it, it may leech toxic chemicals. Very nice although it is plastic
These hello kitty mugs are so cute and they came in perfect condition. Nice handle to hold but only good for 2 fingers and the details are perfect. However, I am returning it because I do NOT see any markings it is BPA safe. It is more pink red.
I know they are small but who cares haha Overall, I was very satisfied with my purchase. Its meant for kids.
