It is not ideally suited (both keyboard and mouse) for standard desktop use, due to it's smaller size (keyboard), and mouse functionality limitations (no extra keys, and you CAN'T set the wheel click for "double click" (but you can change it to several other things). Great keyboard and mouse, easy to type with and take around.

This keyboard works well with my MacBook Pro. Personally, I don't mind a loud keyboard, so it's not much of an issue for me, but if you are expecting something close to silent (or "Whisper quiet" as they refer to it) then this may be a bit louder than you're expecting.

Set-up is straightforward and self explanatory; basically just a case of taking out the plastic battery strips on the keyboard and mouse and plugging in the USB dongle. The product came with batteries included which is always nice, but I will be using rechargeable ones afterward. The keyboard on the other hand has a more awkward method, which requires you to 'snap' the grey cover off to get at the batteries. In terms of use, the keyboard is very comfortable to use, but it's not as quiet as I was expecting it to be, based on the claims on the side of the box.

So, a really well made keyboard and mouse, that comes complete with batteries, and beautifully quiet in operation. Worth the money. Whilst not overly uncomfortable, the mouse doesn't feel natural (ergonomically), and I wouldn't want to use in every day scenario.
