Felt slightly snug and a thick pair of walking socks would probably make them a bit too tight to be honest. Very pleased.

However, they are comfy, supportive around the ankles and have some good grips (see the photos). My only issue was that they didn't seem very breathable, my feet got quite hot, quite quickly.
