not super realistic so I will paint over it with some brown and black acrylic paint. The paint job for the “blade” is pretty decent! Large, feels light and made of good material.

Photo is our 11 year old (4'10"), so it works for taller kids as well as adults. It's the best looking costume scythe out there, is lightweight, and the detail of the little 'Scream' style faces throughout the gnarled wood handle is a nice touch. Made in China, comes in three parts and looka pretty much like the picture.
